No one else wants to be #1?? Okay....last weekend was pretty low key, Levi's soccer game, church on sunday, lots of being lazy and having Canadian thanksgiving. This weekend I'm going to Seattle with Levi (10yr old son) as my date to my cousin's wedding, along with my parents. Really looking forward to it!

ReplyDeleteLast weekend was my niece's wedding. Plan - leave at 1:30 pm and arrive at 11:30 pm. Three horrendous traffic jams later, we had only made it halfway in over eight hours. The atmosphere in the car was most un-wedding-like. We had to stop for the night even though our college-aged son was spending the night in the room we had booked at the destination (cheapskate hated paying for two hotel rooms). Up at 5:00 am to drive the last five hours arriving around 10:30 am. Wedding was wonderful; reception featured best wedding cake ever; after party was fun! Up at 8:00 am on Sunday for breakfast with college boy and then we left for the day-long drive back home. Whew!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a happy follower of your blog.
