Double Gauze Scarves

I had a snow day last week and took advantage of the time off to make some infinity scarves out of the new Cotton + Steel double gauze, available in the shop!

I went with the coral spark print for Valentines Day as well as Ephemera in Neutral

I used two yards of each of the prints, cut down the middle on the fold which is a perfect length for two wraps around and not too close to the neck! I'll have a more in depth tutorial in the newsletter this month, so be sure to sign up (on the right sidebar) if you're interested!

Hoping for some more snow, and snow days soon to get more sewing done! :)

Knotted-Thread Newsletter

You may, or may not have noticed the new widget on my right hand side of the blog. I've decided to start a monthly newsletter to help better share the yummy goodness that arrives in my shop! If you're interested in receiving this newsletter (seriously, 1-2 times a month… at most!) definitely sign up and fill in your email address. I in no way will be clogging emails, but I do plan to make it worth your while and post special sales, deals, etc in the newsletters from time to time! Eventually I hope to have tutorials and other fun things (if you have any interest in writing a tutorial, etc please email me at knot.threads@gmail.com)

Our shop has been taken over by the new Cotton + Steel pieces that arrived last week! We have fat eighth, fat quarter and half yard bundles of each of the lines set up.

We also have lawns, canvases and double gauze available as yardage! I've already begun to sew with the double gauze (i've never worked with it before) and it is amazing! Will show you more in the next post :)
