Then... if you're anything like me you've got lots of precuts sitting around and are unsure what patterns to use them in! We just stocked up on Allison from Cluck Cluck Sew's Scout pattern and Inside Out which are perfect for jelly rolls and charm packs!

W.i.P. Tula Style

First big-ish progress of 2014. Continuing to work on my Tula 100 block sampler.

The quilt along itself is winding down and people are linking up finished quilts as we speak, 

i'd be happy to just get all the blocks done! 

I finished 22 more this weekend bringing my total to 63 out of 100 completed!

I've been jumping around the book so they're in order… but they're not in order :)

I've got most of the 90's left to go and the entire section on the HST's

for some reason i'm terrified of it and I keep putting it off.. 

Off to cut more blocks and hopefully get another set done this week!

A Year in Pictures

2013 was an amazing year for me both personally and professionally..

JANUARY

My year started in Maui and we added our pup Dede to our little family.

I also did some baby quilt making :)

FEBRUARY

My first postage stamp quilt completed, rainbow backing keeping with the aloha spirit.

MARCH

Brought us to Kona for my 25th birthday and a springtime runner for my quilting.

APRIL

My parents visited in Maui and Steve and I got engaged :)

MAY

Brought bag making to a whole new level with this Mother's Day request

but also ended my longtime relationship with my Saab because of a silly tow truck error.

JUNE

Brought more family and friends to visit, and Steve and I decided to end our amazing time on Maui and move home to be closer to family.

JULY

Started my 100 block sampler and packed up our belongings for my move home.

AUGUST-

Picked our wedding venue and my best friend became a "Mrs."

SEPTEMBER- 

Started a new job as a 2nd grade teacher and made my first "ginger pot quilt"

OCTOBER

Started Diamonds in the Sky, and entirely hand pieced quilt top and spent some time with family enjoying Oktoberfest

NOVEMBER

Started working on items for Christmas craft fairs and finally purchased a longtime "want"

DECEMBER

Was a total whirlwind with my brother wedding, craft fair and holidays in general!
