This week its mainly bee's and blocks to update..

1. Quilting for Kids - Asterik blocks (done)

Seriously recommend helping out if you can. They're easy blocks and you can put your own spin on them, great way to try something new and step outside of your comfort zone :)

2. We Be Modern Too -  the NEW bee i'm a part of (almost my first one) yippee! We're working out of the new book Modern Blocks -- can't wait to get started!! :)

3. Sew Happy Geek QAL - caught up from the last 2 weeks - just this week's then all caught up!

4. Love Circle

February is the month of curves.

Playing Catch-up

So, I managed to get some sewing done this weekend but of course, can't show since it hasn't been given to the recipient yet :(

Quilting for Kids

Sarah's at it again!

She's Quilting for Kids and she needs help!

She's making quilts for children in the foster care system.

First time around was pink and purple blocks

she made these for two sisters

Then, she asked for blocks to make this one.

She's at it again!

This time, asterisk blocks - lime green, purple, gray and white

any variations, prints, solids, the colors can be the background or the asterisk

She has sign-ups for however many blocks you feel you can do

I made one of mine last night.. took 15 minutes and it was my FIRST time making this..

So please, if you have some time - check it out and sign up for a block

She's asking the blocks be mailed by MARCH 15th

that's more than a month away! Plenty of time!
