Halloween ABC

A while back I had posted the start of this cross stitch (just realized it was back in Jan!) -- anyway, I put this on my FAL list for the 2nd quarter to hopefully get myself moving.. Slowly but surely

I'm done with letters K-Z

(with the exception of the pumpkin in the center)

i'm seriously loving this cross stitch, it's coming together easy enough

no backstitching, perfect for a beginner

the hand dyed floss in the kit was the way to go, they give the piece dimension

My FAL is to finish letters C-Z

only 7 more to go :)

5. Patchwork Chevron quilt - top done, needs backing and quilting.

6. Granny Squares quilt - 17 of 20 blocks quilted

7. Chasing Chevrons - no progress. needs quilting.

House to myself this weekend = lots of quilting.. hopefully.

Fresh Sewing Day - April

Technically it was Fresh Sewing Day yesterday, but i'm recapping today

When I started thinking about the sewing I had done this month, I didn't think I'd have much to show.. as I went through my pictures I was able to come up with this..

2 quilts and my bee block.. okay.

But then I realized I spent most of the month on these..

yep. nevermind, feeling pretty accomplished this month

mosreso because they are actually all sewn together - I got more white in the mail yesterday so borders will be on this week :)
