  7. I love Whipped Shortbread - they melt in your mouth and are just one bite sized - perfection!!! AND holy moly what a giveaway!!! How can you part with such delicious fabrics??! Fingers crossed for sure!!!!

  22. I make these fantastic little shortbread cookies called "Elfin Shortbread" THey are about an inch square each, so you can eat 20 of them without feeling guilty.

  25. My favorite christmas cookies are Vanillekipferln (vanilla crescents in english :)). The best ones were made by my great aunt which sadly passed away a few years ago. And you can't buy really good ones.

    But my best favorite cookie ever are the brown butter brown sugar cookies from smittenkitchen... these ones are addicting ^^

  27. GIngerbread anything! I have cookie cutters from Ikea that make all sorts of animals and people shapes. Can't go wrong, especially when they're decorated with chocolate buttons!!

  30. Chocolate pillows: butter cookie dough formed into long strips with a cookie press, topped with pieces of chocolate at regular intervals and another strip of dough on the top. I have no idea where my mom got the recipe but they are a long-time family favorite from my childhood.

  58. I've always loved plain old sugar cookies, cut out and decorated, of course! My mom would roll out enough dough for hundreds of them, and my brothers and sisters and I would spend all day cutting and decorating. Best memories!

This is my first holiday season gluten-free so I haven't played with any of my favorite recipes yet to update them, but old-fashioned 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies are amazing and naturally gluten-free. They don't last long in our house. :) Thanks for the chance to win some AMH! Love, love this collection (might be my favorite of hers).

  136. My favorite is a recipe from great grandmother! They are called Mama Grayce's Originals. They are little tarts of puffed pastry filled with a brown sugar and coconut filling. They are then glazed with either an orange or lemon glaze. Yummy!

  138. My favorite Christmas cookie? Well, my Dad actually makes them at New Year's and I wait All Year for them: an Italian cookie called cenci (I think that's the right spelling) / a Polish cookie called kruschiki - they're basically the same thing and both of my parents ate them as children under different names. They're a simple dough, rolled out paper thin and tied in knots, then fried so they go all light-as-air and bubbly, then coated with powdered sugar. Heavenly!
